10 Days Away

Well I have just had 10 days in sunny Lanzerote, first visit here and it is Beautiful.

While here it has been a time of contemplation, for so many years I have complained about myself, too fat, no outside outlet etc, well there is only one person that can change that, and as I head to the big 60 (I know how on Earth did I get here 🫣 ) its now or never.

I read this on Facebook and I need to heed it, so when I get home, start as I mean to go on 👍

Women: You don't have to do everything, you don't have to be a supermom, a super housewife, a super professional, a superwoman... Because when your body claims you, there will be few who will remember you tried to be all in one!

So get out of the house, travel, walk, workout, go to the park, go to a gym, eat what provokes you, fix yourself, sleep later, put on clothes you like, be yourself, take care of yourself, love yourself, say no sometimes and do it EXCLUSIVELY for YOU!!

Children grow up and leave, husbands don’t always stay, work can easily replace you, the house will get dirty again, but your emotional health is also important.

So a plan has been made ..

1. Excersize - Swimming once a week,            building up to twice a week.

2. Look at my Diet and work out a eating        for life plan - I lost it before I can do it         again.

3. Work on really building your crafting             business.

4.  Build a life for me, outside the house.

     Look at Clubs etc nearby.

5.  Blog more, it can be therapeutic 😌

Handmade Items June 2023 Update

This month our DT Club Kit was Botanical 

A beautiful kit, full of flowers and mushrooms, and butterflies, Emma has outdone herself on this collection, and the Tutorials that are included from Jamie  are fantastic as always too.

For my I first project I upcycled a A4 Chipboard Clipboard, turning it into a 

Lovely rustic clipboard, complete with notebook, great for any Gardener.

My second DT Project again using Botanical was this fabulous journal Topper, great for the front of your journal or as a Folio inside, this is available in the main kit, or you can buy it

Emma and Jamie also released this lovely Travel journal this month too, with its vintage feel its perfect as a travel journal.
